The School Program offers support and resources to meet the unique needs of pregnant and parenting girls.
Since 1921, The Salvation Army has helped pregnant and parenting teens by providing social service support and accredited education so that they can stay in school and be prepared for college, work, and the responsibilities of parenthood.
Today, the Booth School provides accredited classes for grades 9 through 12. The School Program offers support and resources to meet the unique needs of pregnant and parenting teens such as prenatal and postnatal care, parenting classes, on-site child care, independent living skills, and mentorship opportunities. Crisis management is always available. We provide a safe atmosphere of peer and mentor support and partner with nineteen other community organizations for extended education.
